The Conseil Régional d’Auvergne, the Regional Development Agency for the Territories of Auvergne (ARDTA), and the Collectif Ville Campagne
are organising
The first ever European University for the reception of new populations:
The theme: "Sustainable regions, open regions"
Project co-financed with the aid of the European Regional Development Fund FEDER
In partnership with the city of Clermont-Ferrand and the "Conseil Général"
of Puy-de-Dôme
Welcoming newcomers in rural areas
is a major challenge for the development of territories
The population shifts between towns and the countryside are part
of a European and worldwide trend
In response to these changes, elected councillors, experts and
technicians will share their views and try to find collective answers.
The University will explore three themes: analysis and understanding of population movements; building regional development around individuals; the development of new reception policies.
