The organisers
The Conseil Régional d’Auvergne (Auvergne regional council) and the Agence régionale de développement des territoires d’Auvergne (Regional development agency for the territories of auvergne)
The Auvergne region has given priority to the reception of new populations in its regional development policy, and has entrusted the Agence régionale de développement des territoires d'Auvergne with its implementation.
The Auvergne region hopes to widen the scope of this reception policy and make it more long term, by providing a summer school where people can meet to discuss the issues. This will alternate with Projets en Campagne (Countryside Projects), a biannual event organised in Limoges by the Limousin region, in conjunction with CNASEA (National Centre for Farm Planning), and the Collectif Ville Campagne.

The Collectif Ville Campagne
The Collectif Ville Campagne is a non-profit organisation,
working
on a national level, under the aegis of the DIACT ( Interministerial Delegation for Regional Planning and Competitiveness); it interacts with all the relevant actors working on the emergence and development of policies that favour the arrival and integration of new populations in predominantly rural areas. With its extensive network and experience with professional meetings devoted to the theme of reception (Campagnes en mouvement (the Changing Countryside), Projets en campagne), the Collectif Ville Campagne is the natural partner to co-organise the event.
